The love and excitement that you see on these faces was mirrored in the faces of the "big kids" in the audience. I say "big kids" because grandmas, grandpas and grandfriends were standing and waving with two hands just as eagerly as these precious children. Our pictures just don't do justice to the praise time we had, together with our grandparents/grandfriends, on Thursday morning.

Thank you to our parent team for feeding our hungry grandparents some yummy cookies and refueling them with some much needed caffeine. Our cookie stations were beautifully decorated and our parent team helped welcome our grandfriends with a smile and helpful directions. Thank you for your support!

Kevin Kammeraad
We will welcome local author, Kevin Kammeraad to South Side on Tuesday, October 21st, from 10:30-11:30. Kevin visited us last year with his friends and music that produced lots of giggles and smiles among students (and staff). His program inspires creativity and "outside of the box" thinking in our children.
Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons at the Holland Aquatic Center will begin for our second graders, first graders and 5-day kindergarteners on Monday, November 10. Lessons will be held every day until November 21. More specific details will be forthcoming.
Child's Medical Plan
If your child has a medical plan on file at school or has the need to have medication administered at school, we need a medical plan form updated from your doctor each year. Please bring the updated form or a doctor's instruction form to the office.
Preschool Happenings
