Take My Life

It stirs my soul to witness young children consecrating their lives to God. By offering their voice, their hands, their feet, even their music played on the recorders, our children gave themselves to their Heavenly Father. May they always seek to glorify God in what they say, in what they do and in where God leads them in this life on earth. Thank you for entrusting your children to our care. We pour ourselves into preparing and equipping them for the path that God has laid for each child in the future.

The program was recorded and, when we are able, a link will be made available for you to enjoy and share with others who may not have been able to attend.

Let Your Kingdom Come!

The Holland Christian Story Project
As you heard at the start of Spring Break, we are launching an exciting branding initiative for HCS called The Holland Christian Story Project. You’ll recall that a significant aspect of the project involves getting feedback from 450 people in the HC community. I encourage you to please sign up for a spot at one of the workshops on April 29-30 or May 11-12. You may attend one of the April events and/or one of the May events if you’re inclined to do so.

The central question across all of the workshops: Who is Holland Christian Schools at its best? The first wave of workshops (April 29-30) will focus on describing the personality of our school, much in the way you would if you were getting to know someone. The second wave of workshops (May 11-12) will then deal with the way we tell the story about ourselves to the community.

Here is the Eventbrite link to make it easy to sign up for a time that is most convenient for you.

Thank you for considering being a part of this reflective and growing opportunity!

Important Lunch Announcement!  Parents, please be mindful of your lunch accounts.  As the year winds down we need to be responsible for our children's accounts.  Our high school student's accounts, alone are over $1200 negative....in the RED.  You may send a check or cash into the school office or go on to send moneytoschool.com to pay on your account.  Please remember this is a prepay system... if you owe $20.00, and they may be eating  till the end of the year....(which is only 25 more days)....add more to cover their lunches in the future.  It's important to keep our balances current, which helps keep the costs down of lunches.   Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your students this year....we enjoy providing lunch each day to our students.  Should you have questions about your balances, please email slambers@hollandchristian.org
Beginning May 1, we will not be allowing high school students to continue to add on to their negative account.
