We are one. We are bound together as one body by God.
God reminded me of this time and time again recently. We are one body. This does cause me to sing.
Pictured here you see our two classes of second graders patiently partnered together teaching two classes of kindergarteners. They are retelling the events of a story, thinking of creative descriptive words to talk about a character and offering gentle support.
We are one body.
This week, teachers from Grand Rapids Christian Schools came to observe our students learning and working in our reading workshop model. Afterward, their teachers asked our teachers some very pointed, honest questions, and our teachers offered wisdom and encouragement.
We are one body.
New families are asking about South Side. They are touring our building and looking into the eyes of our energetic children and seeing the love in the hearts of our teachers for their children.
We are one body.
We challenge each other. We are honest with each other.
We stretch. We pray. We praise. We hurt. We laugh. We sing. We cry. We love.
There is only one God and we are His body. That is why we sing!
Summer Camp

15-16 Kindergarten Enrollment
We're ready to enroll the Class of 2028! Kindergarten enrollment begins February 3, but early enrollment is open to HC families beginning February 2. Enrollment is completed online at hollandchristian.org/apply. Details were emailed to parents earlier this month. 15-16 Preschool Enrollment
We also are preparing for preschool enrollment, including our new Junior Kindergarten program and a full line up of Afternoon Enrichment Classes! Preschool enrollment begins February 10, but early enrollment is open to HC families beginning February 9. Enrollment is completed online at hollandchristian.org/apply and requires a $75 deposit. HC Launching New Junior Kindergarten Program this Fall!
We're excited to offer Junior Kindergarten as a new program at HC this fall. Junior Kindergarten prepares students for the transition to kindergarten with a more formal, structured learning experience. The content and teaching style of this class are appropriate for 5-year-olds who will benefit from the gift of time before starting kindergarten or 4-year-olds desiring a more accelerated experience. FACTS Applications
Application of the FACTS forms may now be completed either in paper form (which we have in the office) or on-line at online.factsmgt.com/aid The forms are due April 15, 2015.

Wacky Wednesdays 2015
We had fun this week as we were very comfortable this Wacky Wednesday in our PJ’S. Next week we get to dress up in our special hats. Just think of all the styles we will see next week as we celebrate our last Wacky Wednesday!

Invites you to join with us as we pray for our children. We meet Monday mornings from 8:15am-9:20ish at Sonya Snyder's house (162 West 37th Street).
